A few words about me
My name is Chrysanthi Alatsa and I am a licensed psychologist. My goal as a therapist is to create a strong therapeutic relationship, which includes commitment, trust, and empathy. These are, for me, some key words for the therapeutic journey.
Regarding my educational and professional background, I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Psychology in Greece (University of Athens). I continued my studies in Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology (MSc) in France (Université de Bordeaux). During my stay in France, I had the opportunity to work with people who faced a variety of challenges in mental health, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. Afterwards, I returned in Greece, where I worked as a psychologist in the correctional institution of Korydallos and in a psychiatric hospital. The last two years I work in private practice offering sessions in adults and couples. As I have experienced expat life, I also work with people who live and work abroad.
My therapeutic approach, which I am getting trained in, is “SANE”, a therapeutical model which combines Systemic approach, Attachment theory, Narrative approach, and neurobiological findings. My ambition is to offer a personalized treatment, depending on the personality and the specific needs of each person.
