A few words about me
Thank you for looking at my profile. I know it can be confusing searching for finding the right therapist for you. I want you to celebrate making it this far. When we decide to work together with someone the most important element that underpins this relationship, I believe, is trust, feeling comfortable and safe. So, I think it would help if I tell you a little bit about myself.
I moved to the Netherlands as a young teenager. I know what it is like to move, and grow up in another culture and perhaps feel like you belong everywhere and nowhere at the same time. I wear many hats including those of a psychologist, a corporate trainer, speaker, business owner and last but definitely not least, a mother. Therefore, I understand what it is like to juggle many balls in the air.
Ever since I was a little girl I have loved listening to stories. My maternal grandmother was a great storyteller and I would often follow her around asking her to 'tell me something'. Today, as an adult, I feel privileged that my clients entrust me to hear, and safeguard their stories.
However, working together is more than me just listening to you. I provide a safe space to talk about whatever it is that you are going through, and walk alongside you during our sessions (metaphorically speaking! However I also offer walking sessions in the Hague. Contact me for more information). Over the course of our time together we will design tools unique to you that will help you to navigate future paths.
