My path into psychology began with a deep curiosity for human nature and a desire to understand how we perceive the world, think and feel, grow, adapt and change. I care deeply about creating spaces where people feel safe, seen, and empowered to reconnect with their inner clarity and strength.
The clients I typically work with experience external changes or challenges (at work, in life). However, there are often deeper issues underneath: unfulfilled needs, unrecognised values, limiting beliefs, or unprocessed experiences. Working in a holistic and trauma-informed way, I support clients not just to function—but to live in ways that feel sustainable, grounded, and aligned with who they truly are.
My work blends systemic therapy with concepts and interventions from positive psychology, emotional agility, and mindfulness. I integrate evidence-based frameworks with a deep respect for each person’s unique story, pace, and inner wisdom.
Whether working 1:1 or in group settings, I pay close attention to both the nervous system and the relational field—supporting clients to develop clarity, emotional resilience, and healthy boundaries. The process is collaborative, compassionate, and designed to support long-term transformation.
Since 2014, I work as Mental Strength & Leadership Coach at my business Sevenbirds, Netherlands. Furthermore, I'm part of OpenUp supporting as Online Psychologist the employees of companies & organisations with their personal and work related struggles.
Before 2014, my focus was on helping professionals and teams dealing with change in organizations - with my former business Change & Co. and employed at an international management consultancy..
This mix of experiences of working with private clients and within organisations helps me to understand various contexts and perspectives.

"Working with Dagmar is like working with my biggest supporter. She has an encouraging and non-judgmental style, has provided space in which I feel heard, and provided structure to help me see things more clearly. Generous in what she brings to the sessions, she has been wholeheartedly committed to me seeing and owning my value and to taking action in the areas that matter."
"Dagmar gave me a completely new perspective about myself and helped me understand the choices I make. Thanks to her, I became more aware of my strengths and weaknesses and learned to listen to myself. She helped me to get to know myself better, understand my personality and most importantly accept myself as it is. These are very valuable insights which will guide me for the rest of my life."
"I found Dagmar through a very good friend in a time where I was feeling very lost and going through a very difficult period in my life. Thanks to Dagmar, I was able to find my way again. I gained a personal strength that I didn't know I could have and I am able to look and face the daily challenges in a much more calm and secure way."
