AntiLoneliness turns 5. Here are 5 awesome things AntiLoneliness did in 5 years.
5/6/2025
Celebrate our 5th year filled with numerous accomplishments and reasons to be proud.

It's been 5 years since I registered at the Chamber of Commerce with my private practice "AntiLoneliness", and today I am as excited as I was on my first day.
Excited to be part of the Mental Health community, excited to help and support, excited to expand and to create.

What have we done in 5 years?
Hundreds, thousands of amazing things, but here are the top 5 we hold dear to our hearts:

1. Expanded from a solo practice to a group practice.
In the beginning it was only me, Vassia, who was seeing our clients and was organising all the workshops and support groups.
Now we are 12 psychologists in the group, and we keep growing.
12 psychologists from: The Netherlands, UK, Brazil, Greece, India - what a diverse canvas is this!
12 great psychologists from a variety of backgrounds, with passion for our mission, with kindness, ethos and professionalism.
12 psychologists who know how to care and support.

2. Organised a variety of Psychoeducational Workshops on Self-Awareness, Self-Growth and Relationships.
Our workshops were not only for individuals who were interested in psychology and self-development, but also for professional of mental health who were looking for more tools to help and support their clients.
Workshops on Inner Peace, Perfectionism, Boundaries, Anger, Self-Compassion, Relationships, Self-Sabotage, Loneliness, Inner Critic, etc.

3. Collaborated with universities and international organisations.
We were assigned projects, workshops and presentations from Universities, such as Leiden University  and Yale University, and international organisations.
We welcomed interns from universities of The Netherlands, Greece, UK, etc, to conduct their internship and to learn next to us.

4. Grew locally and internationally.
We have two locations for individual sessions, one in Leiden and one in The Hague.
But we also serve our clients internationally, with psychologists from Greece, Brazil, The Netherlands, through online secure sessions and group calls.

5. Created AntiLoneliness Academy.
AntiLoneliness got a "baby sister", AntiLoneliness Academy.
Creating a platform for online courses has been a dream of mine for over a decade, and finally it became true at the end of 2020/ beginning of 2021.
This is where all my workshops, courses and masterclasses will be gathered and it will be a source of help and support for all those who need an extra helping hand.

That's our top 5.

Together with our followers, our clients, our colleagues, we have shared laughter and tears, frustration and peace of mind, we have faced problems and found solutions. It’s been an awesome 5 years — and we’re looking forward to the next 50!

We are fortunate and grateful enough to see that our 5th year has only brought us lots and lots of accomplishments and things to be proud of. We have come a long way and we have a long way ahead of us too, making sure we provide the best(est!) support to all those in need.

Thank you for being a part of our journey!
