No, you don't need to repeat the same words every day. But in a busy life, where it's possible to get absorbed and lost by the mundane, pragmatic side of it and only talk about duties, obligations and housechores, we need to proactively remind our partner that we still see them, value them and appreciate them.
Otherwise, romance and love will fade away in the background and from partners you will end up just flatmates...
We have a good relationship. But sometimes I feel disconnected and lonely. And the sex is rare.
The more we abstain from moments of intimacy, the more "awkward" sex becomes. However, it's not impossible. Intimacy is not only about touching each other and having sex. There are many ways that you can create intimacy and allow sex to become comfortable again in a smooth way.
Our fights are often so consuming and exhaustive. How can we learn to not trigger each other so easily?
Creating safety in the relationship is integral here. Not only we need to learn to listen with our undivided attention, but also we need to learn how to show to our partner that we can embrace their perspective and their own reality, even though it contradicts our own subjective experience.
