A few words about me
Psychology has always been my passion. However, I started my carrier in a business setting, and I possessed strategic positions in the Human Resources Departments of big Greek and international companies. I have obtained a Master’s in Human Resources Management.
My personal journey to psychology started in my late 20s when I started my personal individual psychotherapy to get more self-awareness. I continued with group therapy which I really enjoyed a lot and I realized how helpful and enjoying is to work for your personal development in a group. When I was pregnant with my first child, thirteen years ago I started my journey to be a psychologist. I have been trained for 2 years in the Hellenic Psychoanalytic Society, and another 2 years in the Society of Social Psychiatry. I have been trained in the Systemic Dialectic Approach for 3 years at the Athenian Institute of Anthropos (AIA). In parallel, I obtained a postgraduate degree in Psychology from Roehampton University. When I moved with my family to the Netherlands, I decided to continue my studies in Psychology at Leiden University. I obtained an International Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Child and Adolescent Psychology, and I got extra courses from another master’s in Parenting and Child Development.
I have been working with Greek and expats clients for the last 5 years and I have great experience in challenges that concern anxiety, depression, panic attacks, parenting, cultural adjustment, and business coaching. I always try to support my clients switch from the survival to the thriving mode and I do my best to help them be more self-conscious, self-loved, believe in themselves, and fulfill their own potential.
