A few words about me
My own emotional experiences, combined with my passion for helping people, led me to become a therapist and have resulted in years of providing help and support to people in their own healing processes. This has led to transformative changes in their lives, enabling them to experience inner freedom and safety, and allowing them to fully engage with their lives.
What you might experience Unhealed (stressful or traumatic) experiences can lead to psychological, physical and emotional symptoms and can intrude on your present life. You might feel like you are in a constant crisis, trying to avoid or numb overwhelming emotions. Experiencing symptoms such as constant alertness, tiredness, headaches, panic attacks, anxiety or negativity may arise.
For example, if you have experienced neglect in your childhood and learned to numb your emotions and to suppress your needs it can now manifest through your body in different symptoms, such as panic attacks. Another example is self-blaming for what has or hasn't happened by yourself or others, leading to feelings of guilt and shame, which (can) cause(d) symptoms of depression. I completely understand why we try to avoid, suppress, and sidestep these emotions, and that, at the time, it was the only way to survive an overwhelming experience.
It is time to say yes to life, it is time to love yourself. You are worth it! I am here to help you overcome these blockages, emotions and traumas. What does it mean to work with me? I invite you on a healing journey where you are welcomed to be your most authentic self. I help you discover, understand and heal emotions with grounding practices, resourcing and integration practices, emotional release techniques, shadow work and inner child work, I am going to facilitate your process in a very supportive, pacing and comfortable way. Your time, needs, and freedom of choice are always central, so we can find a suitable way to break through your blockages and to outlet your feelings, leading to safe and positive emotional regulation and life-changing results!
We are also bringing balance to the mind and the heart.
You will learn and experience acceptance, compassion, release and learn new ways to cope and love yourself! As a trauma-informed therapist, I am here to facilitate a safe space for you to heal and grow. I will also provide you with tools and resources that fit your needs and help you understand yourself better.
During our therapy sessions, you will feel safe and supported to work with your challenges, resulting deeper connection with yourself, a calm state of being, feeling more alive, peaceful and happy and a sense of being grounded – ready to live your new life!
