How to Silence your Inner Critic

For all of us who are our own worst critic.
Picture
How often have you heard the phrase “we are our own worst critic”?
In reality, this phrase holds plenty of truth.
As much as we have a voice to interact with others, we also have a voice with which we to talk to ourselves.
And sadly, it is often negative.
👎It is punitive and criticising.

👎It brings us down.
👎It lowers our confidence and self esteem.
👎It affects our mental health: it can lead to anxiety, depression and toxic perfectionism.

How does my Inner Critic affect my life?

Do you recognise yourself in these?
  • you feel constantly stressed and restless
  • you find it hard to enjoy life or to let go of negative thoughts
  • you are criticising yourself and bringing yourself down
  • you keep telling yourself that you will never be “good enough”
  • you give up on plans and dreams because you are sure you will never make it a reality
  • you feel stuck, unmotivated, and don’t know how to pull yourself out of this negative cycle
  • you feel:
    • depressed
    • irritated
    • exhausted
    • hopeless
    • fatigued
    • worthless
    • insecure
    • disconnected
    • lonely

Here's why we feel we NEED our Inner Critic:

I can understand why you feel this way:

*It is easy to be self-critical in a society that praises perfectionism.

*It is easy to be engulfed by such a mindset when nobody has shown us how to be gentle and understanding towards ourselves as we are to others.

*I can also imagine that you are convinced how such negative self-talk helps you achieve your goals, but in reality it just brings you down and erases your motivation.

Picture
It doesn’t have to be like that forever.
As you have learned over the years to be punitive and harsh to yourself over the years, you can also learn the opposite:
you can learn how to be compassionate and understanding to yourself.
You can learn how to become your best friend!

You are not alone in this. Many of us feel the same way and I am here to help you. I am here to change your inner voice. To change the way you see and talk to yourself. To teach you how to shower yourself with understanding instead of insults. Nobody deserves that!

How would it feel to:
  • feel more confident in yourself?
  • be able to accept yourself for who you are?
  • focus on your strengths instead of weaknesses?
  • be your own best friend?
  • know that you are enough and worthy, no matter what happens?
  • be present, mindful and fulfilled with your life?
Picture
To be honest:
It saddens me to see how we talk to ourselves compared to how we talk to our friends.
While we are understanding to our friends, we are often highly critical and unforgiving to ourselves.
It hurts me to see that people give up on their passions, hopes and dreams because their Inner Critic convinced them that they are “not good enough”.
Nobody deserves that.

I genuinely want to help you. And that is why I have created this self-paced course.

I want to help you become aware of how you talk to yourself, where that negative voice comes from, and guide you in building a more healthy and loving relationship with yourself. And I will be there. Every step of the way.

In this course, you will gain a deeper understanding of:
